I've been nervous to start a blog because I have a vision in my mind of what it should be like- the photos, the logo, the prose. I've been in a constant push-pull of starting versus stopping one for years, because I'm always so busy, and I have told myself that the blog will never be good enough.
Someone recently reminded me that everything (and everyone) is in process. While I always find myself gravitating towards perfection... let's be real, nothing (and no one) is perfect. So in this first post on my blog, this type A, perfectionist doctor is giving into the beauty of the imperfections, the undone, and the process.
As a tiny intro beyond my about section, I'm a resident physician in Dermatology - that means I'm out of med school, done a year of medicine, and now am learning ALL about the skin. I'm a year into it and will have two years left of training! It's nuts to think that I've been in school or training for the majority of my life.
Needless to say, I plan to post on skin related things. I also hope to post on other endeavors including wellness, balance, good noms, house projects, and the list goes on.
So welcome to the process that is me, you, life... and this blog.
